The general rule is that the greater the impact of the charity, the greater its reward with Allah.

يتضاعف أجر الصدقة لمن يخرجها سراً، وحين تشتد حاجة الفقير اليها، وحين يسرع بها اذا توفر المال، وإذا انفقها قبل ان يموت، وان اخرجت في الاماكن والاوقات الفاضلة. فيكون ذلك أفضل عند الله والقاعدة أن كل ما كان أثر الصدقة أعظم كان أجرها أعظم.
