Younus (Jonah) PBUH was thrown overboard the ship into the ocean. When he ran away from his people because they did not answer his call to Allah, he got onto a ship. When the ship was about to sink, the crew through all the cargo, and they had to throw some people. They drew lots to see who of the crew should be cast overboard and the cast fell on him three times. So, they threw him overboard and the whale swallowed him.

لأن يونس أُلقي من فوق السفينة إلى الماء. عندما هرب من قومه لأنهم لم يستجيبوا لدعوته، ركب السفينة. ولما كادت أن تغرق في البحر رمى البحارة البضائع كلها واضطروا أن يرموا أشخاصًا ليخففوا من وزن السفينة. فأخذوا أسهم ليختاروا الشخص، فوقع عليه السهم. فَابْتَلَعَهُ الحُوتُ.
