الحديد والذهب والفضة والنحاس
(آتُونِي زُبَرَ الْحَدِيدِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا سَاوَىٰ بَيْنَ الصَّدَفَيْنِ قَالَ انفُخُوا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَعَلَهُ نَارًا قَالَ آتُونِي أُفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِ قِطْرًا) [الكهف 18: 96]

(وَلَهُم مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ) [الحج 22: 21]
(وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَا جِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ) [سبأ 34: 10]
(زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّـهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ) [آل عمران 3: 14]
(لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّـهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ) [الحديد 57: 25]
(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْأَحْبَارِ وَالرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ) [التوبة 9: 34]
(يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلاَ تَنتَصِرَانِ) [الرحمن 55: 35]
1. Iron Sent Down With Great Might | وأنزلنا الحديد فيه بأس شديد
Allah says: We sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Book and the balance so that people may uphold justice; and We sent down iron, in which is great might and benefits for people (57:25). Ibn Kathir explains, citing Mujahid and Qatada, that the balance is justice.
وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ (سورة الحديد: 25)
قال تعالى: (لقد أرسلنا رسلنا بالبينات وأنزلنا معهم الكتاب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط وأنزلنا الحديد فيه بأس شديد ومنافع للناس) (الحديد 57: 25)، قال ابن كثير: والميزان هو العدل، قاله مجاهد وقتادة وغيرهما.
2. Iron Made Soft for Dawud | وألنا له الحديد
Allah says: We gave Dawud a favour from Us: O mountains, glorify with him, and the birds as well; and We made iron soft for him (34:10). Ibn Kathir explains that awwibi means glorify, as Ibn Abbas and Mujahid said, and that Dawud was given a mighty voice with which the mountains glorified; the Prophet told Abu Musa: you have been given one of the melodious voices of the family of Dawud (Sahih al-Bukhari 5048).
وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ (سورة سبأ: 10)
قال تعالى: (ولقد آتينا داوود منا فضلا يا جبال أوبي معه والطير وألنا له الحديد) (سبأ 34: 10)، قال ابن كثير: ومعنى (أوبي) أي سبحي، قاله ابن عباس ومجاهد، وقد أعطي داود صوتا عظيما كانت الجبال تسبح معه به. وقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لأبي موسى: "لقد أوتيت مزمارا من مزامير آل داود" (صحيح البخاري 5048).
3. Copper: Qitr | النحاس: القطر
Dhul-Qarnayn said: bring me molten copper to pour over it (18:96). Ibn Kathir reports that Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, Ikrimah, al-Dahhak, Qatada and al-Suddi said qitr is copper, and cites in support: and We made a spring of molten copper flow for him (34:12), said of Sulaiman. وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ (سورة سبأ: 12)
قال ذو القرنين: (آتوني أفرغ عليه قطرا) (الكهف 18: 96)، قال ابن كثير: قال ابن عباس ومجاهد وعكرمة والضحاك وقتادة والسدي: هو النحاس، واستشهد بقوله تعالى عن سليمان: (وأسلنا له عين القطر) (سبأ 34: 12)، قال قتادة: وكانت باليمن.
4. Gold and Silver | الذهب والفضة
Gold and silver come among the desires made attractive to people (3:14), and Allah warns those who hoard them: those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend them in the cause of Allah, give them tidings of a painful punishment (9:34). وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ (سورة التوبة: 34)
