Surah Al-Kafirun is the 109th chapter of the Quran, containing 6 verses. Revealed in Makkah, it declares to the disbelievers, in response to their offer to compromise in worship, that the Prophet does not worship what they worship, nor do they worship what he worships, a declaration repeated for emphasis, and closes with the well-known statement of clear disassociation: “To you your religion, and to me mine.” Below you can read the full Surah Al-Kafirun in Arabic with a clear English translation and a verse-by-verse tafsir (explanation of the meaning) from Aysar al-Tafaseer, with the option to jump to any specific verse.
