Which Surahs in the Holy Quran are named after Prophets?
ما هي السور التي سميت بأسماء صريحة للأنبياء؟
There are six Surahs in the Holy Quran explicitly named after Prophets: Yunus, Hud, Yusuf, Ibrahim, Nuh, and Muhammad. While Surah Luqman is named after a righteous man, the majority of scholars agree he was a wise sage and not a Prophet.
توجد ست سور في القرآن الكريم سميت بأسماء صريحة للأنبياء وهي: يونس، هود، يوسف، إبراهيم، نوح، ومحمد. أما سورة لقمان، فقد اتفق جمهور العلماء على أنه كان رجلاً صالحاً حكيماً وليس نبياً.
The Holy Quran honors the legacies of the Messengers by naming specific chapters after them. These Surahs often detail the struggles, patience, and ultimate victories of these Prophets in delivering Allah's message. Although other Surahs like Maryam or Luqman are named after righteous figures, they are not classified as Prophets by the consensus of scholars.
تكريماً لذكرى الرسل وتخليداً لقصصهم في الدعوة والصبر، حملت ست سور أسماءهم بشكل صريح. تتناول هذه السور عادةً تفاصيل بعثة هؤلاء الأنبياء وعلاقتهم بأقوامهم. ويُستثنى من ذلك سورة "لقمان" وسورة "مريم"، حيث إن مريم عليها السلام صِدّيقة وليست نبياً، ولقمان حكيم صالح وفقاً لقول جمهور المفسرين والعلماء.
