تمثل هذه العبارة حقيقة كونية كبرى في القرآن الكريم: تذكر الإنسان دوماً بأن الحياة الدنيا محطة مؤقتة. ورغم تكرار ذات اللفظ في المواضع الثلاثة: إلا أن كل سياق ركز على جانب مختلف: كوفاء الأجور يوم القيامة: أو كون الحياة اختباراً بالخير والشر: أو حتمية الرجوع إلى الله. وهي دعوة صريحة للعمل لما بعد الموت والاستعداد للقاء الخالق.
The Three Occurrences | المواضع الثلاثة
1. Surah Aal-Imran (Verse 185)
(Every soul will taste death: and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection.)
(كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ)
2. Surah Al-Anbiya (Verse 35)
(Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.)
