After Moses defeated Pharaoh and his people by his proofs, the conversation began to take another turn in the sense that Moses, peace be upon him, had to present proof that he was a Messenger sent to them by Allah. He said to Pharaoh: “Even if I bring you a clear proof?” because he threatened him with imprisonment and said to him: Will you imprison me if I came with a clear proof and doubtless evidence? At that point, Pharaoh agreed to see the Signs and proofs Moses had.
Here is the second stage of the conversation.
- Pharaoh demanded that Moses bring the Sign and the proof, which prove his true call. So, Moses threw the stick in his hand, and the stick turned into a real, visible, undoubted snake.
2. Moses showed a second Sign: He was dark-skinned, but when he took his hand out of his pocket, it was white and bright with no defect whatsoever before whoever looked at it.
