- Washing the face ( gargling and washing one’s nose)
- Washing the hands up to the elbow
- Rubbing the head with wet hands
- Washing the feet up till the ankle
- Washing in the previous sequence
Allah the Almighty says:
(O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles.) [Al-Ma’idah 5: 6]
- غسل الوجه منها المضمضة و الإستنشاق
- غسل اليدين إلى المرافق
- مسح الرأس
- غسل الرجلين إلى الكعبين
- الترتيب
- الموالاة : متابعة الغسل بحيث لا يؤخر غسل الأعضاء عن بعضها
قال تعالى:
(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ) [المائدة 5: 6]
