- Allah describes the condition of the people of Hell when they were admitted to Hell-Fire in several verses in the holy Quran : ( Say, “The ˹true˺ losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on Judgment Day. That is indeed the clearest loss.”) Az-zummur 39:15
The meaning of the verse is: The loser is in fact the one who lost himself and lost his family on the Day of Resurrection.
That is, they parted, and there is no reunion among them nor happiness at all, because they went to Hell. So either their families went to Paradise, and they went to Hell, or everyone inhabited Hell, and in that case they will never be united nor have any pleasure.
That is a clear loss, without a doubt.
-
- (Our Lord! Indeed, those You commit to the Fire will be ˹completely˺ disgraced! And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.) Al-Imran 3:192
The meaning of the verse is that whoever Allah has admitted into Hell, He has insulted him and revealed his scandal to the people of the crowd, and there is no savior for those who enter the fire on the Day of Resurrection.
-
- ( ˹They are˺ those who pray, “Our Lord! Keep the punishment of Hell away from us, for its punishment is indeed unrelenting. It is certainly an evil place to settle and reside.”)
The meaning of : ( for its punishment is indeed unrelenting.) Is that it is persisting, it does not go away. as when a person accompanies his opponent – as the creditor who accompanies the debtor -, some things that befall the son of Adam usually disappear after some time, but this does not cease ever – we ask Allah for wellness and safety -, but it is inherent as long as the earth and the heavens are there.
(It is certainly an evil place to settle and reside.) means that it is the misery of the house, and the misery of the one who is dismissed.
No matter how much we describe this fire and its torment, pain and sorrow, our pens and tongues are incapable of describing it.
Moreover, the fire is immortal and the people in it are immortal, except for he who gains Allah’s mercy and Allah brings him out of it – we seek refuge in Allah from the fire
