Chapter 7 - Questions about the Unseen
Is Satan of the jinn or was he formerly of the angels? | هل إبليس من الجن أم الملائكة ؟
Is Satan an Unfaithful? | هل الشيطان كافر؟
Does Satan believe that Allah is the One and Only Creator? | هل يؤمن إبليس أن الله تعالى هو الخالق الواحد أحد؟
What is the sin which Satan committed that caused him to be expelled from Paradise? | ما هو الذنب الذي ارتكبه إبليس حتى طرده الله من رحمته؟
Why did Satan disobey his Lord’s command? | لماذا عصى إبليس أمر ريه؟

Do the angels have special powers other than mentioned previously? What are they? هل للملائكة صفات أخرى وقدرات غير تلك التي ذكرنا؟ ما تلك الصفات؟
Do angels die? هل تموت الملائكة؟
Scholars say that angels are infallible. What does this phrase mean? And what leads the scholars to say so? يقول العلماء: إن الملائكة معصومون من الخطأ. ما معنى هذه العبارة؟ وما الذي يحمل العلماء على القول بذلك؟
Do the angels look at peoples’ deeds? هل الملائكة تطلع على أعمال الناس؟
Do the angels glorify their Lord as the humans do? هل الملائكة تسبح بحمد ربها مثل ما يسبح الناس؟
Why aren’t we allowed to draw the angels the way we are used to see them drawn? (ie angels with wings)? لماذا لا نستطيع أن نرسم الملائكة مثل ما هو متعارف عليه (أي ملائكة بأجنحة) ؟
Allah Almighty says: ( ˹And say,˺ “I had no knowledge of the highest assembly ˹in heaven˺ when they differed ˹concerning Adam˺. Whom are the highest assembly? And what did they differ about? قال الله تعالى: “مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ” من هم الملأ الأعلى؟ وفيم يختصمون؟
Where do the angels live? Is there a specific place that we know they are in? أين تسكن الملائكة؟ وهل لهم مكان معين يعرف أنهم يكونون فيه؟
Almighty Allah says: ( by the hands of angel-scribes, honourable and virtuous.) Who are those scribes? And what is the meaning of honorable and virtuous? قال الله تعالى: “بِأَيْدِي سَفَرَةٍ. كِرَامٍ بَرَرَةٍ” من هم السفرة؟ وما المراد بقوله كرام بررة؟
Who are the Jinns? من هم الجن؟
Which Ayah in the Noble Quran is a proof that the Jinn do not know the future nor do they know the unseen? الجن لا يعلمون الغيب: ما الدليل على ذلك من القرآن الكريم؟
Are there Believers and Non-Believers among the Jinns? هل يوجد في عالم الجن مؤمنون و كفار؟
If the Jinn do not know the future nor the unseen, so how are they able to get news and to know about events before they happen?|إذا كانت الجن لا تعلم الغيب فكيف تأتي بأخبار الغيب؟
The Jinn have powers that are greater than those of humans. What are those powers that Allah Almighty gave the Jinns?| للجن قدرات تفوق قدرات بني آدم. فما هي هذه القدرات التي أعطاها الله للجن؟
Will Allah call to account the Jinns on Judgment Day? Have they been assigned with responsibilities? | هل سيحاسب الله الجن يوم القيامة؟ وهل هم مكلفون بالأعمال؟
If someone is afraid of the Jinn, will he be judged for that fear? What should one do if he is afraid of the Jinn?| قد يخاف الإنسان من الجن. فهل يؤاخذ الشرع على هذا الخوف؟ وماذا يفعل من يخاف من الجن؟
What is the ruling of killing the snakes at home or outside the house? Is it true that the snake is of the Jinn? | ما حكم قتل الحيات في البيوت وفي غيرها وهل صحيح أن الحية من الجن؟
There is a doubt that may arise in some minds: “How can they be tortured in the fire when they are created from fire”? As well as those who steal their hearing and are struck by meteors from fire, how can they affect them when they are created from their substance?| هناك إشكال ربما يطرأ على بعض العقول: ” كيف يعذبون في النار وهم مخلوقون من نار”؟ وكذلك من يسترق السمع فتصيبه الشهب من نار، فكيف تؤثر عليه وهو مخلوق من مادتها؟
Allah Almighty sent down human Messengers, but did He sent messengers from the Jinn?| المعلوم أن الله أرسل رسلا من البشر، فهل هناك رسل إلى الجن؟
Can a Jinn possess a human body? And what is the evidence for this? | هل يمكن للجني التلبس بالإنسان؟ وما دليل ذلك؟
Is a human capable of seeing or talking to the Jinn? And is that permissible? | هل يمكن للإنسان أن يتحدث مع الجن أو أن يراهم؟ وهل ذلك جائز؟
